Received an HMRC letter about MTD? Not sure what software to use or what happens next? I handle the entire setup for UK landlords and sole traders — so you're compliant, stress-free, and never miss a deadline.
From April 2026, landlords and sole traders earning over £50,000 must keep digital records and submit quarterly updates to HMRC using approved software. Your annual tax return alone is no longer enough.

Choose how hands-on you want to be. Either way, I handle the setup, the HMRC connection, and make sure every deadline is met.
No jargon. No confusion. Most clients are fully set up within a week of their first call.
We talk through your situation — landlord, sole trader, or both. I find out what records you have and which software fits you best. No obligation whatsoever.
I configure your MTD-approved software, connect it to HMRC, link your bank feed, and migrate your records. You get a full walkthrough so you know exactly where everything is.
You receive a Setup Complete document listing all your deadlines. If you're on a monthly plan, I handle every submission. HMRC is sorted — you get on with your life.
I help UK landlords and sole traders get on the right side of Making Tax Digital — without the stress, confusion, or expensive accountancy bills.
My background is in customer success — I've spent years helping people get the most out of software and digital systems. When MTD arrived, I realised that hundreds of thousands of people were going to need exactly that: someone to sit alongside them, explain it clearly, and make sure everything actually works.
I'm not an accountant and I don't give tax advice — but I know MTD compliance inside out, I know the approved software options, and I know how to make this genuinely simple for people who just want it sorted.
"I was completely lost when the HMRC letter arrived. Wassim sorted everything in one session — software set up, bank feed connected, records migrated. I didn't have to do a single thing."
"As a freelance consultant I assumed MTD would be a nightmare. One call, a bit of prep, and I was sorted. The quarterly reminders mean I never have to worry about missing a deadline."
"Three properties and a small business. The Done For You plan means I just forward my letting agent statements and everything gets handled. Wouldn't go back to doing it myself."

If your combined gross income from self-employment and/or property was over £50,000 in the 2024/25 tax year, yes — from 6 April 2026 it's mandatory. The threshold drops to £30,000 in April 2027 and £20,000 in April 2028.
Not quite. MTD adds four quarterly digital updates to your existing annual process. Your tax payment dates — 31 January and 31 July — stay exactly the same. It's additional reporting, not additional tax.
Not necessarily. There are HMRC-approved free options available. As part of your setup I'll identify the best fit for your situation — free where possible. Any software cost is entirely separate from my service fee.
Spreadsheets alone are no longer sufficient, but you don't have to abandon them. We can use "bridging software" — a low-cost tool that reads your spreadsheet and submits it to HMRC digitally. I'll set this up if it's the right option for you.
Both income sources are combined to determine if you're in scope. You'll need separate quarterly updates for each — one for property, one for self-employment. I handle this as standard, no extra complexity for you.
I focus specifically on MTD digital compliance — setup, software, and quarterly submissions. I don't give tax advice. If you have an accountant, I work alongside them. If you don't, I can advise when you might need one.
Book a free 20-minute call and I'll tell you exactly what you need to do, what it costs, and how quickly we can get it done. No obligation.
